Welcome to the Costello and Fermoyle Fisheries website. We are situated in the beautiful landscape of Connemara, in Co. Galway, in the romantic west of Ireland.

We are a sea trout and salmon fishery, featured extensively in "A Man May Fish" by T.C. Kingsmill Moore, and offer anglers the chance to fish on the enchanting Casla River.

The Casla River system is located approximately 20 miles west of Galway City on the coast road, before the village of Costello. The system comprises of 3 miles of main channel river which is divided into 4 beats. The lakes which include Glenicmurrin, Muckinagh, Rusheen, Fermoyle, Carrick, Clogher, Shanawona and the schoolhouse lakes are networked by 10 miles of river.
