Ballinahown Fisheries

The Crumlin Fishery: The Crumlin system is located in Inveran
which lies 6 miles from the Casla system. The river comprises of
several excellent holding pools for seatrout and salmon. Night-time
fishing for seatrout on the river can be particularly exciting.
The principle lakes on the fishery are Uggabeg, Uggamor and Nambrackmore
and boats are provided on the lakes where only flyfishing is permitted.
Fishing is at its best from July onwards on this remote and beautiful
fishery.
The Ballinahown Fishery: The Ballinahown fishery
is located 3 miles on the Galway side of the Casla system. The principle
lake is Nagravin which has a vein of limestone running through it.
This shallow lake (approx 1 mile in length) is teaming with wild
brownies which can produce some great sport. Nagravin is also the
ideal lake for the novice fly-fisher to improve their skills. Boats
and gillies are available on request.
